Fear only has as much power as we allow. All it takes is one experience, situation, or circumstance for fear to creep in and completely consume us. Read Amy's Survivor Story below.

A little over 2 years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I allowed fear to control my every thought - am I going to die, am I going to lose my unborn child, am I going to lose my breasts...the thoughts were endless, debilitating, anxiety provoking. Even though all my cancer was removed during surgery and I successfully completed treatment, I didn't really begin to heal until I made the decision to let go of fear. I'd be lying if I said I don't still have fear at times that my cancer will return, but I'm human, and I'm making progress.

"Ultimately we know deeply that the other side of every fear is a freedom" -Marilyn Ferguson
